Sales Reps
The Sales Rep Page is a dedicated section within the Velocity ecommerce platform, designed to provide a comprehensive view of all sales representatives associated with the organization. It serves as a central hub to track, manage, and access key information regarding each sales representative.
The page presents a list of sales representatives, each entry providing crucial details such as the Rep ID, First and Last name, primary email, the source from where the rep information originated, and the commissionable categories that the rep falls in. The Rep ID serves as a unique identifier, making it easy to track and manage each representative's activities.
Each Sales Rep within the system has a unique ID assigned to each one. These IDs will always originate from eSpatial and are responsible for deciding which Rep gets commissioned what amount.
These labels also act as hyperlinks that can be accessed to show additional Rep Details. To learn more about Rep Details, click here.
Moving along is displayed the Reps First name, Last name, and their title such as "MD" or "NP".
Following the Rep's name is displayed their primary email attached to their account.
The next column displays the source in which the Rep was imported from. If a Rep was uploaded from an eSpatial export, then they will be shown as such. Alternatively, an Admin can manually create reps while using the Rep's eSpatial code which is when the Rep will have the source label "Manual" assigned to them.
At this time, these are the only two labels that will be shown in this category.
This column shows which categories the Rep can receive commission on which is derived from eSpatial.
Each label acts as a hyperlink that will lead Admins to the commission structure under that category. To learn more about Categories, click here.
Admins can quickly edit Rep information by clicking on the blue "Edit" text to the right of the Rep's row.
Here, Admins can edit information such as the name of the rep, their primary email, and any custom fields that are assigned to the Rep.
Note: A rep's ID cannot be changed in Velocity. To change their ID, this must be done in eSpatial and then uploaded back into Velocity.
