Mobile App
We've create a mobile app for our demo brand Luma Retail. To fully enjoy the Hands-on Lab experience, we recommend downloading and setting up this app.
Download the Mobile app using the QR code on your phone.
This app is signed with an official Adobe enterprise certificate, but by default iOS will not treat the app as trusted. The first time you open the app, you'll get a notification that the app is not trusted.
- Navigate in your phone to Settings > General > Device Management > Adobe Systems Inc and click Trust Adobe Systems Inc.
When you launch the app for the first time, you'll be prompted to log in with your Adobe ID. Use the same Adobe ID you used to log into the Adobe Experience Platform.
If you are asked to select an Organisation, select Adobe POT 4 from the list.
The app can prompt you several request, for example to allow push notificationsand allow the use of gps.Make sure to allow these requests.
To load the Luma Retail content, you'll need to import a custom project.
- Navigate to Settings in the bottom menu.
- Check Custom Project and insert the Project ID sacker-B6GH.
- Click Save.
- Your app should now reload and show the Luma Retail demo app.
In the mobile app you can look at the Real-time Customer Profile, just like you've seen on the demo website. To show the panel, drag your finger from the left side to the right side of the screen.
In order to receive push notifications from the journeys you create, you'll have to link your mobile app profile to your web profile. This will stitch the identifiers of both profiles and merge all data into a single profile. To do this you need to log in on the mobile app.
- Click on the Person icon in the top left of your mobile app screen.
- Log in with your email address. You can leave the password blank, it's not used in the demo.
After your login, open the Real-Time Customer Profile and you'll noticed it will have stitched your profiles and a lot more data is now available. If you don't see the data in the panel immediately, refresh the panel by clicking the refresh icon or closing the app completely and restarting.
